The Association of Friends of Wachau Kultur Melk and the students of the Stiftsgymnasium will spoil concertgoers in the break area in front of the Kolomanisaal. The buffet is open at all concerts taking place in the Kolomanisaal one hour before the start of the concert, during the breaks and after the events (except after the evening concerts). In Pielach Castle as well as at OffRoad Barock in the Baroque Cellar, drinks are offered before and after the concerts as well as during the breaks.

After the evening concerts, the monastery and the International Baroque Days invite you to a traditional evening with wine.

On the grounds of Melk Abbey you will also find the café in the garden pavilion (open until 6:00 pm) and the abbey restaurant.
Whether it's a leisurely breakfast to get you in the mood for the matinee or an enjoyable 3-course menu before attending the evening concert, the monastery restaurant caters to your physical well-being daily from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Baroque Days Wine

For many years, guests of the International Baroque Days Stift Melk have been enjoying wines from the house of Jamek and delighting in ever new, but also well-tried creations of the traditional winemaker. Since 2014, the Weingut Jamek and the International Baroque Days Stift Melk have presented a select festival wine every year. The net proceeds go to the concerts of the International Baroque Days Stift Melk.

Conclusion with wine

After the evening concerts, Melk Abbey and the International Baroque Days invite all concert-goers to a pleasant get-together over a glass of wine. The traditional end of the evening takes place after the concerts in the Kolomanisaal in the Wirtschaftshof, after the concerts in the Stiftskirche in the Prälatenhof and during concerts in the Stiftspark in the Prälatenhof. In case of bad weather, the evening will be held in the Baroque Cellar.
