With an array of 130 ships, they sail to war against the English crown: a powerful fleet departs from Spain to escalate the long-simmering conflict between the two countries in an invasion of England. For a whole evening, the Kolomanisaal will be the battlefield for the turmoil of war around the Spanish Armada of 1588, when kettledrums and trumpets compete against the eloquence of Queen Elizabeth I.

For this explosive battle we have managed to engage Fahmi Alqai and his Accademia del Piacere, a combination that always guarantees innovative and exceptional concert projects. Famous for the charismatic performances in which she brings her historical figures to life, actress Maxi Blaha takes on the role of Elizabeth I.
